1408 is one of those underground masterpiece movies in my opinion...the film that does something new with the Kubrick method without actually trying too hard

2021-10-29 00:10:35 +0000 UTCAssume you've probably seen the Jordan Peele films Get Out and Us. So won't suggest them. But they are brilliant. Umm Antebellum? Has same sort of vibe don't know if you've seen that. A bleak thriller. Don't know whether Death Note is exactly an horror. But it's good. All versions (Japanese, US) are very good of that.

2021-10-28 18:44:52 +0000 UTCFirst time I've seen someone else suggest it. I really like it. No spoiler, I found it sort of similar to a cabin in the woods, but with a completely different face - if that makes sense. I don't mean they copied, I just mean they share some neat parallels, while being 100% different in content.

2021-10-27 04:39:11 +0000 UTCNo reactor that I watch has reacted to The Monster Squad this Halloween; which is super disappointing. You should do it! It's a comedy/horror similar in theme to The Goonies... but quite a bit darker. You'd love it!
