It was the folley of humans that designed algorithms. They gave the AI permissions to make a function proceed most efficiently. The error being (P vs NP) the AI separating biological and mechanical (AI) to be equal in importance was the failure of the "company" in the episode. They made it to be (P = NP). By design humans were least efficient in the task and were eliminated. Any REAL programmer would know the P vs NP problem and that the biological brain can outperform any AI's Polynomal task by using NP executive functions of our brains. I hope that makes a bit of sense to you :) Im current doing post grad thesis on the Penrose-Lucas hard conscious issue of neurology and right now at UCDavis we are looking into ORCH-OR hypotheticals. that thought processes spawn from a single quantum state emergence at reduction. Trying to figure out if spacetime is deterministic, or stochatic in form. So far, its scary to see 'free will' is truly a measurable illusion we think exists.
