I think Dune is getting alot more popular because of the Denis Villeneuve version coming in October. I bought it on Arrow 4K and it certainly is massive film . Not as big as the 250 million version from Denis. But every scene in Dune you can see the lavish production. As far as if it follows the Frank Herbert novel well I'll leave that to the fans. It does in it's own way.
