UPDATE: Hornet 75 mm – From April Release
Added 2025-10-20 13:03:31 +0000 UTCWhen we first created the original Hornet for our April release, we based her design on the official Hollow Knight illustration. In that artwork, Hornet’s head is slightly slimmer compared to how she appears in Silksong.
As we started working on other characters like Lace, Sherma, and Shakra, we used an in-game standing model of Hornet to define their proportions and scales. To keep everything consistent, we needed to slightly adjust Hornet’s head to better match her in-game appearance.
You may have noticed this change already in the “Floating Hornet” fridge magnet, that version includes the updated head. It was something that had been bothering us for a while, as we had two different Hornet models with two different head shapes.
We brought this up with our community on Discord, and after your positive feedback, we decided to go ahead and update the original model.
The April Hornet now features the new head and a small adjustment to the needle’s position. The updated files are now available on both Cults and MyMiniFactory. If you already own this model, you can download the updated version now.
The version 1 remains included, we won’t be removing it.
