General Update

It's been quite a long time since my last post now - And for that I'm sorry.. Between the chaos of the pandemic, the day job, and the project work, these past two months have passed in a flash.
And let's be fair, I've not wanted to admit it, but I've been having a pretty rough case of burnout lately - silly as that may sound. It's something that should have been avoidable, but it has unfortunately happened. Even so I gotta say: Episode 2 is really starting to come together, and when it's finished we'll find another, equally exciting project to sink our teeth in - seeing the comments left by you guys, on FA, and on Newgrounds telling me how much you're enjoying the game really makes it all worth it, regardless of any burnouts along the way <3
There is still a ways to go before Episode 2 is completely finished, but I feel I should also mention that as far as the writing and programming goes, we are really starting to close in on the finish line, all that remains is to touch up some of the gameplay systems that have yet to be utilized to their intended effect (consumable items primarily) and some more side content to flesh out the three planets a little more - After which the only thing remaining will be to keep commissioning art to ilustrate each of the game's scenes.
On the topic of art I have also decided that I need to start making more frequent updates on Patreon. It's thanks to you that this project is even possible, and it's rude of me to neglect you like I have for the past few weeks - as such I will from now on be sharing previews of each finished image I commission for Episode 2, regardless of whether or not there is any accompanying news about the state of the project itself^^
Preview art this time around is from a scene with one of the new relationship characters I'm working on adding (the preview is not the full image by the way, this is just a cut-in frame~) the art for which was done by Gewitter. Go check him out! (he's even got the full image in his gallery~)
