Journal Prompt - Retrain Your Nervous System With This Simple Hack

Do you find yourself stressed more than calm? Start to come out of perpetual fight or flight mode with this simple trick. Slow down. Most people's lives these days are very fast. Rush here, rush there, deadlines traffic, school, and the list goes on. To start to retrain your nervous system you just need one simple practice. Slow down.  Like increases like and so the more you rush the more the pressure builds. Instead, take a deep breath and move just a little bit slower with intention. It may feel terrible at first but with time you should notice how you can bring yourself into a peaceful state faster:) 

This week notice times in your life when you start to feel stressed and see if you can bring in more slowness, instead of rushing even faster.
