True Metallic Metal Breakdown

Greetings fellow wizard! In this video I wanted to flesh out non metallic metal in the style I often approach it. Controlling where the shine happens with opaque paint, toning it in a certain direction with the addition of a tinted ink or wash. I hope this look at NMM helps you in your future swordplay. Let's paint the world!

Gold is a slightly different bast, which I plan on covering. Usually I'll use two tones before bringing opaque into the mix. My recipe is something like this: Warplock Bronze, brass from Vallejo, then black shadows, an ink wash, and silver highlights. I'll definitely cover it in a video but it seems to need a little extra kick with that initial dark tone in the form of warplock Bronze.

Excellent video as per usual! So for gold we switch to a darkish brown instead of a black?

Awwwyeah! Glad this video was helpful, it's pretty short and simple but I think that goes well around here.
