Homestead Sadness
Added 2024-06-27 21:40:31 +0000 UTCWe have had a traumatic week here on the homestead. My sister's goat/ our goat gave birth two days ago. Everything went wrong it was very traumatic and we lost the last baby. Both kids were in the wrong position creating the problem. We did all the aftercare for Mama we could, and we thought she would pull through. However, this morning she went off food, went downhill quickly, and passed around lunch. It was shocking and we are all dealing with the loss. I'll be trying to get her baby to bond with me but how everything has gone I feel a little low on hope. Nevertheless, I will give it my all. He has taken a bottle so that is very good. I'll make a post in a few days to let you all know how this turns out.
I will be putting out some more classes and a personal this week, but as you can imagine I am running a little behind.
Much love,
Nicole
