Chapter 7 Pages 33-39 WIPs

As you can kinda see, I tend to split up the work into even smaller groups rather than doing the same steps to all of them. I had pages 33 and 34 thumbnailed first while I was still figuring out how I wanted to bring the narrative back to the present, so they're the furthest along. The dialogue I always wrap up last, so I can guarantee a good 80-100% of it will be different by the time its posted in mid-october.
One thing I really like about doing entire sequences at once is how I balance out where detail goes. When doing a page a week, I kind of put the same effort into every page, which bogs me down- not every page needs 12 hours of work, you know? There are stand-out moments in sequences that need emphasis and detail, and other parts really benefit from the emotion that comes from drawing in a less polished way. There are a few things I'm SUPER happy with here because of that method- the entire page of Harmony's breakdown/tantrum, and Dakota averting his gaze from everyone at the top pf page 38 particularly.
I hope y'all are enjoying these kind of progress caps in lieu of me actually putting time into making videos with good pacing and transitions. I'd like to make them again sometime, but for now my focus is like... actually doing pages and getting the story REALLY going. Chapter 7 is the last in Act 1, and I'm SO BEYOND READY to get back to the sex, and everything else I have planned for blbl.
