344 - BARRY LYNDON (1975) + THE DUELLISTS (1977)

Hosts Josh and Jamie discuss lavishly photographed 18th-century historical tragic-comedies, filled with astonishing costumes and location work and men who love to engage in petty duels to the death, with a double feature of Stanley Kubrick's BARRY LYNDON (1975) and Ridley Scott's THE DUELLISTS (1977).

See you all in a week's time where we'll be back with a special guest talking about early Tim Burton: PEE-WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE (1985) and BEETLEJUICE (1988). Keep it sleazy!

Comments

I put off Barry Lyndon for so long because I thought the subject matter wouldn't interested me. Immediately shot up to the top of my Kubrick list. Amazing film.

Watching The Duellists made me wish we had a Ridley Scott Highlander.
