Tutorial: Pen Settings
Added 2014-07-01 00:01:52 +0000 UTCI often have people asking about what my pen settings are in the program, Paint Tool Sai, so I decided to share them with Patrons who wanted to test them out!. -Inking Pen: I use this for the majority of my work! I sketch with it, I ink with it and I usually do marking detail with it. It's my general "All Purpose" tool! -Airbrush Pen: This one is handy if you want to add soft gradients or try out more soft shading as opposed to cell shading. It's really nice for soft blending! - Marker: This tool is one of my favorites for "painting" types of work, it blends colors well and gives a very "brush stroke" texture to what I'm working on -"Grass": I created this one with the intent of using it for just grass detail, but it's turned out to be more versatile than I would expect! Much like the Marker brush, it blends well and gives a painted texture, but what sets it apart is that depending on the amount of pressure you apply with your tablet pen, it reacts more naturally like a live media paint would! It's worth giving a shot!
