During their long, pointless hours on the job, the staff at Gutterball while away their downtime watching random videos on the computer. And now you can waste your time too, with this patron-exclusive side-series!
This first episode is just a little sample I wanted to squeeze in before the month is up. From next month, these will be a regular feature, exclusive to mid-tier patrons and up.
This series will provide long-form Day Job fun to patrons without interfering with my budget and schedule, thanks to the limited animation. We were still testing the waters with this first one, but the idea is to make them long enough to listen to like a podcast while you work or do tasks. This one features Ivan, Hannah and Lily, but more characters will be joining soon. Look out for the next one where Lily asks Rico his favourite movie.
And one more thing: these are canon! Hope you enjoy!

Used to be songs but then that carried on to YouTube videos in the reboot. Glad to see this being carried on by another creative. With good character depth as well.

2024-05-02 05:11:26 +0000 UTCYES exactly! Hannah (Heather) was originally the other main character alongside Ivan (me) and it was inspired by our experiences working together at a VR escape room. With the time we had, the stories we ended up writing for Fresh Blood didn't have much room for Hannah, so in the recent recording session, my main goal was to expand on her character for the audience. Much more Hannah to come.

2024-05-02 00:13:39 +0000 UTCAfter watching this many MANY times, I kinda realised that one of the reasons why I really like this is because it expands Hannah’s character and personality a bit which is cool because her role in the pilot was mainly just talking to or about other characters (this isn’t a criticism because I’m sure the time constraints didn’t help and it was just a pilot so obviously not everything is fully fleshed out and realised yet) But it’s cool to know a bit more about her like the fact that she says “yucky” or that she loves Vampire Knight!! I can’t wait for more episodes of these because of this, I need to know more about these characters!!!!!!!!

I'm sure it's nerve wracking and hard to follow your dreams of creating things (especially with so many corporations + executives owning or outright canceling films/shows for tax right offs), but it's refreshing to see a hand made show like this.
