We got SO much from this episode alone! Focusing on Theo, learning about their mom and why the kids are like that.
Theo is a real hero, she is fantastic.
I do have SO many questions at the end of the episode though... I just have to be patient π

I definitely understand Theo's decisions more than Shirley's, but that's what's great about these characters, they are all so different and people can relate to different ones!! I'm so excited to learn more about the other kids, they are so fascinating... and tragic :(

2025-10-01 13:34:37 +0000 UTCThis was probably the most intense episode so far. In a way they all help people, intentionally and unintentionally. Steve with his ghost stories helps to keep the memory of gone loved ones alive, Shirley helps people to deal with their losses and find closure and Theo uses her gift to help children in need. Theo is very pragmatic about things. While she shares Shirleys feelings about Steve exploiting their history for his book, she sees the possibility to turn it into something good by making her PhD in child psychology and helping other traumatized children. Her gift is not entriely supernatural - felling that Luke said the truth about the cellar is one thing, but finding the entrance is pure rational detective work. The same goes for finding out the truth about Mr. Smiley its a mixture of being gifted and being smart. And yes, she is indeed insanely brave...π€βΊοΈ As always, can't wait for next monday...π
