Predator 2 (1990) * FULL LENGTH REACTION

Predator is back!!!

Is it wrong to root for the Predator?

A pleasant surprise to see Danny Glover in this, after just having watched Lethal Weapon 🀣

Definitely a step down from Predator for me, but it's fun rooting for the non-human!!

I do wish the Predators would win in the end. Damn humans, needing to be the heroes 😁

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

An additional $250,000 is quite a lot. I can see why they went another direction lol. I'm glad Danny Glover got the role, it was a very smart decision for him, and seems like a rare change at that, thanks for the info!!

I saw this on HBO and/or Cinemax in the 90s and have always enjoyed it. Some trivia for you: Arnold Schwarzenegger said no to Predator 2 because of a dispute over money. According to producer John Davis, it was over an additional $250,000, which the studio refused to pay him. However, the director later stated that Schwarzenegger couldn't commit due to scheduling conflicts. After being offered the lead, Danny Glover was quick to jump aboard the movie, as he knew of few movies that had "a black man fighting a supernatural being". Director Stephen Hopkins said that the studio's only concern was that an Afro-American leading man would limit the film's profitability in some countries but they eventually agreed, given Glover's popularity from the Lethal Weapon movies. Hopkins also stated that Glover's presence worked as a magnet on several other actors, who were keen to work with him. Several of the hunting party members were played by players from the Los Angeles Lakers; Glover was a big fan, and when the production needed several very tall people to play the background Predators, he asked them to help out.
