It's time for a musical!! And the music is just so epic! The visuals are gorgeous, and I've since listened to the songs many times since watching this 🤩
One day I may see Les Misérables live, the songs are so powerful and captivating.
It's making me want to see more epic pieces like this, not necessarily musicals, but an epic story/adventure. Similar to Gladiator!
I thought Hugh Jackman would be my favourite character (Jean Valjean) but I really enjoyed Russell Crowe (Jalvert). Especially him near the end, it felt so powerful and emotional.
I'm going to try to edit this for YouTube and see what kind of hassle it is to do. That being said, if it's not an absolutely hellish experience, I'll be watching more musicals for sure!

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie. You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

I love just how much this music means to you, thank you so much for sharing!!! I'd love to see a live production of it, but I can start out with the stage productions more easily available since the music is just so amazing! I've listened to quite a few songs in the background after watching this, it's so moving!! I'm glad you enjoyed the reaction!!

I performed in this in a community audition choir, and my family loved the music as much as I did. For Christmas, one of my artistic kids made a picture book of this for me, and it is one of my treasured possessions. So, we sing and listen to this music a lot. When someone new asks us to know what this music is, we tell them. If they want to see it, we ask them if they want the story, or do they want the music. If they want the story, we watch this movie - the story is easy to follow, and the performers are actors first, and singers second. If they want to hear the music, we watch one of the music productions so they hear the gloriousness of this music and the performers are singers first, and actors second. I am glad both of them exist as they tell the story different ways. If you like this music, I know you would love to give a listen to a stage production, maybe not for the channel, but for your own enjoyment. My favorite is the 10th anniversary as it is the one I know, but the 25th anniversary show is much more recent and is easier to get a hold of, and is almost as good. :)
