Another Hitchcock movie coming right up!
Get ready for suspense dialed up to 11! Also, it turns out I have heard of the Bates Motel and Norman Bates before, but had no idea it was from Psycho. Just things you hear in passing at some point and eventually learn where they're from 😅
I'm such a fan of Hitchcock, his films are just so interesting and well done! And also, the casting is fantastic. I can't really picture Jimmy Stewart as Norman Bates.
I love every part of this film, from beginning and focusing on Marion, and her decisions, then shifting to other characters later on, and the reveal and ending!!
For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie. You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

I love that older movies can be made into 4k!! Technology truly is a wonderful thing 🤩 I've gone back to see Norman's conversation where he slowly shows cracks in his armour. It boggles my mind that people would walk in partway through a movie. It's such a weird concept for me, I'm so glad Hitchcock changed things up for the viewing of Psycho!!

Love this movie, the expressions, the music, lots and lots of shots featuring mirrors, and obviously the twist. Not sure if someone else mentioned it, but this changed how people saw movies in theaters. People used to routinely go into and leave theaters while the show was on, but this started people not being let in after the movie starts, in an interest to lessen spoilers.
