2025-05-31 12:47:30 +0000 UTCIf you like zombie movies, I'd recommend the 1990 remake of Night of the Living Dead. The original was the first zombie apocalypse movie and started the genre. The special effects guy couldn't do the first one because he got drafted and sent to Vietnam, he took what he saw their as a soldier and used that to make his effects more realistic.

2025-05-31 00:54:16 +0000 UTCI think that the amount of time for them to turn is because a virus evolves from the initial version. Usually the original virus may not be as dangerous maybe for example it doesn't transmit through the air... but then it evolves. It can jump from one species to another and keeps changing, then a human catches it... I think the movie was trying to show that the original may have had differences... There have been super dangerous viruses I think... but they were too potent and kills too quickly to spread... but then it evolves to a milder version that lives much longer in the host and now it can be carried long distances before it shows symptoms and it can be carried on a plane and there you go, global pandemic.
