The Last of Us Season 2 Episode 6 (2025) * FULL LENGTH REACTION

Here it is... the episode that I've been waiting for!!

I love the story weaving and the setup for each episode. We get to see different perspectives and just get more information

I'm really loving this series, and want to see more Pedro Pascal 🤩

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Thank you so much everyone for your support, you are the best!!

I think for the most part it's implied that a cure would have been able to be made, and then the fireflies would slowly roll out the cure. At least by TV logic haha

What no one seems to get is that if the doctor did get the sample there was about a 10% chance to make a cure with out modern labs, and then there is no distribution network, they couldn't get the cure out.

I totally respect the “Joel Camp” thing even though I’m in the “Marlene Camp” personally. We’re still primates at the end of the day and when it comes to your children those primal instincts are so overwhelming that I completely get and sympathize with Joel. The creator of the Last of Us took a poll of people who’d beaten the game - it was 50/50 “Joel did the right/wrong thing” for people without children. For people with children it was 100% “Joel was right” without a single dissenting voice! That definitely speaks to something innate in us that may not be entirely rational and almost impossible to overcome for people with kids. A mother bear will absolutely rip your head off if she thinks you may possibly be a threat to her cubs. I’m still traumatized by an event where I was helping a baby duck get unstuck from a net and mamma came out of nowhere and went straight for my face, biting, honking, and slapping me with her wings! There’s like a switch that goes off and parents go into kill mode. I’ve seen it with my mother when I was bullied in school where the animal comes out. It’s probably a good reason why we exist at all.

This was a great episode. I hadn’t rewatched season one so I’ve really been missing this relationship between Ellie and Joel. As much as I’ve been enjoying this season overall it’s really lacked that connection which made the show so special for me. I honestly didn’t expect to see Joel again in any meaningful way, I just couldn’t see them dropping flashbacks every so often, and I’m so glad I was sort of right in such a good way - we got a whole episode instead. This is an area where the show can do things the game cannot. I’m still in the Joel camp regarding him saving Ellie. Does society really deserve to be saved at the cost of a loved one? My view of the Wolves and Scars suggests not, but I do accept Jackson does show the other side. I do however disagree with Joel’s decision regarding Eugene, that was rough, and I’m not sure it fully rang true to his character. It’s possible I’m just clinging onto a belief Joel is a better person than he actually is. Even with him being ruthless with things that needed to be done, I’m not sure that qualified.
