Andor Season 2 Episode 8 (2025) * FULL LENGTH REACTION

I have no words. OMG THIS EPISODE WAS HECTIC AND AMAZING. Best droid is almost here!!

Who are you?! What a rude awakening. This guy that you've been obsessed over and has caused so many issues for you and he has no recollection of you at all 🤣

Rebel base is set up! It's getting real, everyone!!

Those damn droids are way too OP, thankfully we have one now 😏

The scene of Syril and Dedra in her office was masterfully done. The actors are amazing to see, and I just can't help but root for one of them to come to their senses. Too late now though.

This show is doing such a great job at showing us how the Empire really is. They're not shying away from anything, and I'm really happy about that.

Seeing a more human side to Dedra, and seeing her collapse is hard to watch, but it's nice to see this side of her.

And there's still one episode left in the arc!!! 🤩

Thank you so much everyone for your support, you are the best!!

I think his character is so fascinating! And it's also so very , very common. He just was blind to the truth, and honestly thought he was doing good, and was on the good side. I obviously hope that Dedra breaks away from the Empire, but she really can't, now can she. She can't just say, I resign, they'll never let her. She is just fascinating!!

My pleasure, thanks for watching <3 They really know how to write a story, and each episode too!

She really wasn't. That's the thing with both Syril and Dedra, they believe what they're doing is right and in the best interest of everyone. Dedra had issues being in charge of this program, but the chinks in her armor. It feels like her world is crumbling, and I want to know what she ends up doing with Syril gone. K2 is going to be a blast 🤣

That's no energy program, that's a death star 🤣🤣 Syril really believes that the Rebels are the problem. Even back in the first season, he truly believes that the Empire is doing the right thing, and people are unfairly against it. This is where he finally realizes the truth... (There is no spoon)

Oh wow you were right and I was wrong! Syril did in fact develop a moral compass and inner fortitude. I’ve been ripping on him for being something of a caricature but he certainly proved me wrong this time around! This was my favorite episode thus far and I wonder how Dedra will cope with this? I predict she’ll double down but I agree that she’ll either become more entrenched or lose her faith in the empire completely but nothing in between.

Thanks again, Vero! 💎 I'm nearly speechless. Your tears are shared.

There are no words for this episode. Saying OMG understates the impact. In Legends, the Ghorman Massacre was the event alluded to in episode 4 where Tarkin landed his ship on the innocent Ghormans. Here, it was the impetus for all of the activity up to now in Andor. The writers found a way to top the impact of that earlier event by a lot in this now canonized version. You had to know Syril and Cassian would meet again. Just guessing it would happen but like this? Wow. I feel so sorry for him and the impact on Dedra, wow. I couldn't tell in the earlier episodes if she was playing Syril or not but clearly she was not. Now we have K2, it's going to be fun to see how they integrate him into the story.

I think Syrils' whole deal was that he thought he was there to protect the poor naive Ghormans from the influence of the evil rebel outsiders. Then he realizes there are no rebel outsiders, it was Empire lies. The Empire are so sneaky - Dedra doesn't tell Syril about the reason they're there, but does she even know the truth? To paraphrase Mr Kenobi, "that's no energy program, that's a death star"
