I'm loving every second of this show, all the storylines are fantastic and I do worry about a lot of these characters' survival. Mainly Maximus and Norm. Also, I hope we do see Chet again even though he's not going on Norm's adventures.
I'm glad Lucy finally found a stranger who isn't trying to kill her or anything lol It's a breath of fresh air and some hope for humanity!!
For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie. You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

I never look at the episode titles, so unless it shows it at the beginning, I have no idea what I'm signing up for ๐คฃ It's very easy for people smiling at each other to feel dark, it seemed like they were CONSTANTLY smiling a big smile, which people just don't do ๐ It's very creepy when someone is always smiling the same kind of smile ๐จ The writing in this series is just so fantastic, and the way they wrote each episode just makes us wanting more. I've learned that it's not easy to write a TV series since you have to plan a beginning, middle and end, while still ending on a somewhat cliffhanger for people to want to tune in for the next episode. Movies are much easier for me ๐

2025-02-19 21:46:43 +0000 UTCThe 3d and 2d fallout games all basically use the same combat system. but in the 3d ones you can also just shoot at stuff like a regular FPS game. So when Thaddeus said he sucked without a scope, I think it could easily apply to any Fallout game. Also if you get through Fallout 1 and 2 and want more, there is actually a third top down game called Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. But I think it only came out on the Playstation 2 and maybe wasn't that well received.

One of my favourite was the hacking mini-game making an appearance when Norm was on the computer! Can't believe we're at the final episode already, it's gone too dang quickly!

The writers did such a good job of misleading the audience, already starting with the title of the last episode, "The Trap". Yeah it is a trap, but not the one everyone expects. For me the story of Vault 4 is the writers holding a mirror up to the audience (shown in Lucys reaction). We (the audience) happily jump on any conclusion with Lucy without thinking twice. She got scared because people look different, talk different and follow weird (in her eyes) rituals she doesn't understand. I'm still baffled how the writers made the open and welcoming behaviour of the vault dwellers look weird and suspicious. They did a great job showing us the vault through Maximus' and Lucys eyes. No one threatened them, no one harmed them, on the contrary - they got medical aid, a friendly welcome, an appartement and free meals. It is fascinating how weird a place where people smile at each other can feel in a dark and grim and ruthless world like the wasteland. It's a lesson in how appearances can be deceiving and how people are biased by their experiences and prejudices ...๐ค๐ฑ I noticed Betty split up friendships. She split up Woody and Reg (the overseer runner-ups) and more importantly, she separated Norm and Chet. Getting rid of Chet and keeping an isolated Norm close by. In general it looked like they send the weaker ones over to repopulate 32 with a determined 31 leader in Stephanie Harper. Cooper and his wife have interesting living habits. He has the TV and lights on and smoked, while she was sleeping in the bed right next to him...๐ The "young" Moldaver confirmes what I said after ep. 1 about communism in the US in the 50ies - The accusation of being a communist is being used to get rid of people you don't like for any reason, to cancel them, as you would say today...๐ค๐ Okay, one more to go, can't wait for the finale...๐
