I always like seeing Mon Mothma, she's not in an easy position, but she's doing the best she can. Saw is quite the character. I'm glad we're getting to see his character development in the animated series. He was interesting in Rogue One and Andor (where I first saw (😏) him).
Ezra tried to be smooth and impersonate an Imperial officer... sadly he impersonated the only one that wouldn't work 🤣
We got to see Kanan flying a ship... sort of!! He was guiding it at least, sadly for some reason the baddies were able to follow them in the fog for the most part 😅
Time for Ezra to learn why Saw isn't someone he should follow and agree with!
For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie. You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

That's why I love Kanan's development so much. He's gradually changed and has really become a Jedi. I would love to see him interact with Obi-Wan. Though him and Rex bickering was so much fun, it's a bit of a shame that they got on the same page so quickly 🤣

2025-01-20 15:53:38 +0000 UTCWe've had this version of Kanan for a while but remember in season 1 and part of season 2 he was not very optimistic, was challenging orders, even saying orders and protocol is exactly what he didn't want when they started doing this stuff. He's come a long way and he's much older than Ezra so it makes sense that he's found himself and his purpose while Ezra is still figuring those things out and learning from experiences with the crew and not the crew (Hondo, Saw, etc.).

Saw's style of warfare is so antithesis to the Jedi philosophy (e.g. "We're keepers of the peace, not soldiers". - Mace Windu in Attack of the Clones) it's not surprising that he and Kanan (and everyone else who actually knew the Jedi before the war like the senators) can't see eye-to-eye on that matter. Like Ezra said in an earlier episode, there is still a lot for him to learn from Kanan and this is one example of it.

You can definitely understand the Appeal Saw's way would have to someone like Ezra & Sabine in their situation where the Red Tape aspects of the Rebel Alliance would make things kinda frustrating for them and then they see Saw who just takes Action with no debate or anything or anyone to hold him back or accountable, but of course that side has many downsides too and I think Ezra & Sabine really gotta see it first hand because it's one thing to just be told "Saw's the bad guy" but actually being with him and seeing how he operates will hammer home the reality.
