A Knight's Tale (2001) * FULL LENGTH REACTION

Another reactr request comin' at ya!

Four men walk into an arena; Wash, Robert Baratheon, Vision and the Joker 🀣

If you ever told me that they would team up, I would not have believed you. When I write it out like that, it sounds like such an impossible group 🀣

It's so weird seeing what can be considered a "romantic gesture" in some of these movies. Whoever wrote this is probably a sadist πŸ˜…

Heath Ledger is simply amazing, and his voice is like silk (or butter, I don't remember what the saying it). I do find it interesting how each character is a varying amount of comedy. We have Alan Tudyk who is the most comedic and over the top, then Mark Addy who joins in at times, but is a bit more serious in his delivery, then Paul Bettany who is a verbose comedian for the most part, and Heath Ledger who is more like a buddy comedy but mostly serious.

An absolute treat to see, and I love being surprised by the actors in a film 🀩

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Thank you so much everyone for your support, you are amazing!!

The Patriot is one that I've wanted to watch but haven't gotten around to yet. This year hopefully!! The other two I know the titles, and never thought of reacting to them, but after seeing Heath Ledger in this, I may just have to!

I love this one... and, yes, I saw it on the big screen. 😊 Since you don't know much of Mr. Ledger, in addition to the last role he played which was epic, I strongly recommend: 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU (1999) which is a teen-themed retelling of Shakespeare's THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, THE PATRIOT (2000) set during the American Revolution and BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN (2005) which is an exquisite, tear-jerking romance/drama.

I've heard of The Canterbury Tales, but never read it. It wasn't in my requirement readings in English class πŸ˜… It was a super fun movie, and I think all the actors were fantastic. It's so nice seeing them in earlier roles and be able to see what they've gone on to do! I'm glad you liked the reaction! I love how they basically set this in a period where we don't have much information about Chaucer, it's overall a very well thought out movie.

I'm with you on the love story not being too great, but the scenes with William and his dad are just perfect!!! 😭I didn't know there was a post credit scene!! That's one thing that I hate about streaming services, is that two seconds into the credits, it minimizes the screen then autoplays the next movie. I usually record the movie overnight on my PC, and completely forget to check for post credit scenes :( :( Anachronistic! I was looking for that word and couldn't think of it the whole reaction. Thank you for that 🀩It fit perfectly well with the movie, and I guess it was intended all along to use "We Will Rock You" since they filmed everyone going along with the beat.

This was a fun reaction. I really enjoyed it. Just FYI, but Geoffrey Chaucer was a real person. He is considered by many to be the first great English writer. His book, The Canterbury Tales, is still required reading in a lot of English Literature classes. (And yes, he thoroughly eviscerates both pardoners and summoners in his Tales.) The movie is supposedly set in the early 1360's, a period in which we know very little about what the real Chaucer was doing other than that he was wandering Europe. So who knows, maybe he was the herald to some unknown knight named Ulrich von Lichtenstein.... 😁

I really cant undersell how much I love this movie. I loved it when it came out but it has also aged like a fine wine over the years. The cast is amazing, they weren't super famous when the movie came out but then everyone somehow went on to be iconic. I'm not crazy about the love story but everything with Williams dad gets me in the feels. I love the anachronistic music, it really gets you pumped up for the big jousting scenes. The guys blowing into those medieval horns but it sounds like a guitar solo is just hilarious. This is probably the movie that I have seen the most full length reactions to. For a while I would search for reactions of it on youtube and then go to peoples patreon for the full version even if I had never seen that persons reactions before. I've probably seen every reaction to this movie that has ever been done. I cant wait to watch your reaction to it! also I wonder if you saw the post credits scene. It is absolutely not vital but pretty funny.
