From beginning to end 😭What an amazing, action packed episode!
Ekko arived at the perfect time, and thankfully he has the turn back time machine. I love how in episode 7 Powder said "I've never seen you give up on anything, Ekko" and now he's not giving up on her 😭
There are just so many amazing moments in this episode. Jaybe never giving up on Viktor, Viktor also just completely trusting Jayce to save him, Mel and Caitlyn vs Ambessa, Jinx and Vi vs nolongerVanderConstruct thing and Ekko... Ekko's moment to shine was just beautfiul, so well done and amazing!!!
I love how everything comes back and explains the beginning. Jayce first seeing the stranger with the runes, and then at the end realizing that Jayce's adventure into the other universe was actually him with his hammer. And also Vi and Jinx at the end. Dammit Vi, you should have listened to Jinx!! 😡😭
A phenomenal series, I absolutely loved it. It's in my top series of all time for sure!

A few high quality seasons >>>>>> many seasons where the quality drops off, and makes people dislike the show in the end. I was fine with what we saw of Ekko and Jinx, especially seeing Ekko all alone at the end. Their interactions was enough for me, though I would have loved more since I want more of so many characters in this series!! I don't yell or curse or do loud noises in general, so my reaction was pretty in line with how I am 🤣🤣 Jinx was ready to die for so long, so jumping into the construct only makes sense. She gets to save Vi and finally be at peace. I rewatched the season and it's so nice to pick up on so many things that I missed. The music is especially perfect. Thank you for all your commentary!!! It's been great to read through all of it!!

2024-12-28 15:50:23 +0000 UTCNo, definitely no more seasons. 😱 That would only have led to mediocre filler episodes. The show would have lost so much of its intensity and therefore its emotional impact. I'd rather have two high but efficiently paced seasons that leave you wanting more, than three seasons with some meh episodes...😊 The Singed/Mel/Noxus storyline was left open on purpose, as future stories around in Noxus and its enemies are in the making. It was even hinted there are plans to bring Vi and Caitlyn back in future stories, but not as main characters. The only thing I was missing was showing us Jinx and Ekko reconciling, but only because I would have loved to spend more time with the two of them. The background here is that it was actually planned to show it, it would have been a montage similar to their hextech research in episode 2x7. Due to budget overrun and the length of the episode (would have been 70+ minutes) they had to cut it down to 50 minutes and kicked the whole sequence (among others). I can understand why they took it out. It would have been redundant to what we've seen in episode 7, only Powder replaced by Jinx. Maybe someday we get those deleted storyboard animatics on a blue ray edition or so. In the end we see enough in the character design and behaviour of the both of them that we can pretty well imagine what happend, we see the outcome after all. Hats off to you, Vero! Your reaction to Maddies betrayal was the calmest I've seen by far. I've seen screaming, shouting, cursing, crying, cheering at her sudden death - but none as quiet and collected as yours. Or was it just shock? 😅🙈 This scene sends you on a crazy roller coaster of emotions in such a short time...🤯 They showed Caitlyn losing her eye. After Ambessa got through the shield, blood dripped from Caits eye and whenever Cait was seen afterwards her left eye was closed and bloody - full frontal even when Viktors "light fingers" grabbed Mel and Caitlyn. Vi didn't make a conscious decision. It was shown throughout the story how hard she fights trying to save everyone and how much Vanders death traumatized her. Re-living all this, leaving without checking if he's really gone and saying goodbye was never an option. Vander was always her kryptonite...😭 And talking about decisions - who said Jinx had to jump into Vander? She could have let Vi go down with him and save herself. Only that was also never an option, for the same reason Vi couldn't just simply walk away from Vander - love. I loved in how many ways Jinx honored Isha and her sacrifice. She dyed her hair in the same blue/turquoise like Ishas coat. She painted thick light purple stripes under her eyes as Isha did when she went to the rally. She painted huge pink bunny ears on her balloon, like the ones Isha wore. And she did for her big sister what Isha did for her. She sacrificed herself willingly, fulling knowing what she was doing, full of love, crying and smiling at the same time. "Always with you sis", was her version of Ishas finger shooting gesture towards Jinx. 💖 There are some hints that Jinx got out there alive. A split second before the explosion you could see a pink beam escaping from it. Caitlyn studying the air ducts of the tower. In the full album version of "Wasteland" the last line of the song is "... DON'T let me go." And my favorite (and the most poetic) hint: Powders first words in this show where her looking at the airship flying over their heads and saying "One day, I'm gonna ride in one of those things!" That exact same airship flies away to distant lands in the end. In my head canon she was on that ship, breaking the cycle by leaving. 😊😍 Caitlyn gave up her Kiramman seat in the council for Sevika, for Zaun. There are still prejudices and mistrust on both sides, but slowly the healing begins...😊 If I would have to choose one special picture that stands out of all the beauty in this show, for me it would be the two little sisters sleeping and holding hands around the bunny, after Vander tucked them in. Seeing them so peaceful and knowing what life has in store for those two already traumatized children just breaks me. This picture could be put into a dictionary under "innocence". 😭💖 Amanda Overton said this was always planned to be the last picture of the two sisters together, it was their guiding light throughout the writing process. In the end, let me say thank you for your entertaining and enlightening reactions to this brilliant show that will be unmatched for a long time.😍 I wish you a happy new year and I'm looking forward to your next reactions, especially "Fallout".
