Toy Story (1995) * FULL LENGTH REACTION

The winner of our Patreon Animated Movie poll!!

I love seeing character development and seeing just how real the characters are! I feel like everyone has felt similar to how Woody feels throughout (though some of us don't try to actively sabotage others 😅).

I find it really interesting how Woody isn't a good person for the majority of the movie. Tom Hanks does a fantastic job with the voice acting. I'm also surprised at Tim Allen, he was great!! I think I like him in serious roles that have some comedy in the dialogue.

The movie came out 29 years ago, yet still holds up visually and thematically 🤩

I count this as a sort of Christmas movie since it involves toys and good life lessons 😂

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Thank you so much everyone for your support, you are amazing!!

It really did give animated movies a push, and Pixar really made their name with animated movies. Innovation and taking chances paid off!

I remember seeing this in the theater on Thanksgiving the year it came out. I was totally blown away. The technology used was groundbreaking.

What a wild ride, I have no idea why all that happened :(

Here is my suggestion for animated movies. -Rest of the Toy Story movies. -Frozen and its sequel are much watch. -Tangled(2010) and its sequel material. -The Aristocats(1970) -Robin Hood(1973)- Robin Hood was the look that inspired Nick Wilde in Zootopia -The Rescuers( 1977) -Oliver& Company(1988)-definitely worth watching -Any of the Disney Renaissance movies like Lion King, Aladdin, Mulan -Hercules- definitely worth watching -Incredibles 2

Uh oh, if seeing a movie in theatres when it came out in 1995 makes us old... 😨 Woody is such a douchenozzle in that reel! I'm glad that they changed it to how it is now, it definitely would not have been the same movie. Thanks for that!

I went to see this in theaters when it first came out( I am so old). It was probably the second movie I ever saw in theaters, the first was The Lion King. This movie almost looked very different. Look up the Black Friday reel, which is an early storyboard that so poorly received that it caused a complete overhaul of the movie.

I was just as surprised, same with my Robocop toy (not sure why i had one of those at that age when I wouldn't have watched it for a few more years 😅). But it still works fine!

That's amazing!!! I didn't think it would still work after all these years. I remember a few friends had those

Verowak

I still have my Buzz Lightyear toy I got for Xmas around when this came out.. the wings still pop out and the buttons still activate the voice lines. They don't make stuff like they used to!

jim Howe

It’s working now

Scott Howard

it says "This video is private"

Yes, I’m signed into Patreon. It’s weird. I’ll try it on different computer

Scott Howard

Sign in to.. Patreon? I've never seen that happen before, or why it would be specifically for this one video 🤔

Verowak

Those moments are really well done! Haha I agree with Tim, that Buzz Lightyear is a good actor 🤣 I do love how intensely he believes he's actually Buzz Lightyear, it makes me wonder how their memories are formed/implanted/develop 🤔I may be thinking too much about it haha

Verowak

Video won’t play. Keeps asking me to sign in, even though I’m signed in. Other videos do play.

Scott Howard

Yes, your email title confused me, which is easy to do. My favorite moments in this movie was when woody was trying to get Buzz to see that he's just and toy, and the other favorite is when Buzz realized he just a toy. I watched an interview with Tim Allen who was saying that he was watching that and thought main that Buzz lightyear is good actor :)

Scott Howard

Hahaha I realized that just after I posted it 🤣 Would be an interesting crossover, where the Toys need to take down an Alien 😁

Verowak

I had to see if this was a troll because the title of this post is "Alien (1979)* FULL LENGTH REACTION". Woodie and Buzz let me know that the only aliens are being kept "...to infinity and beyond!"
