Ezra being there and knowing nothing about the Clone Wars is nice because it's a different perspective and he doesn't have any prejudices (for the most part).
The little detail of the clanker having a bit of trouble dragging Rex was great π
For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie. You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

It really sucks since the Clones get replaced and just ignored/left out to dry. Bad Batch was amazing for that, yes, and this episode just really reminds us that the Clones are/were most likely struggling. It would be interesting to have dark/gritty Clones focused animated series during/after being decomissioned

2024-12-15 14:30:13 +0000 UTCThis episode hits me in the feels, because we don't realize that the Clone War never really ended for them. It just kinda...stopped. And everything changed and got left behind in the shakeup and new order of the Empire. The clones never really got any finality. Which is one of the things that was powerful about the Bad Batch, seeing how the clones were forced to deal with a whole new life afterwards. They never actually got any resolution to what they were built for. They were just dropped and forgotten. Their purpose forever unfulfilled. So I'm glad at least Rex has got some closure now.

2024-11-19 16:10:27 +0000 UTCThe later into life Ewan McGregor plays Obi-Wan the more jarring and sudden the handover will be to Alec Guinness π Like the few years between Jude Law and Richard Harris/Michael Gambon for Dumbledore from Fantastic Beasts to Harry Potter π What a fun episode! It was so good that the "old guard" got the closure they clearly needed. Sometimes a fresh perspective is needed to see things differently and Ezra was perfect for them this episode.
