Added 2024-09-30 17:05:06 +0000 UTCIt really is quite terrifying to see how things were in the Pacific, though it hasn't been as brutal as I was expecting. I know there are some episodes left, so it's possible that it will get more brutal and disturbing.
For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie. You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

It's unfortunate that HBO cut out the intros, I really have no idea why :( It really helps situate us and help us understand what is going on in the episode. I look forward to having my questions answered, and thank you for that :D

Let the jungle critters clean everything off. Mail them home. Front page Time magazine. Uncle Sam stopped that. You are in for shocks coming up. How does it affect the people that did this for you? When you are so ignorant of what was going on. Who failed you Vero? There is ZERO reason to have this reaction. Bad men did bad shit to bad people.(whatever the side the people still probably better than most people.) It still goes on even today. War is nasty brutal. Kill or be killed. It strips you of everything you were. How can you say what you say?

2024-10-02 04:15:03 +0000 UTCSo a couple of things: I think I told you in a private message that I'm glad you are watching the intros. Unfortunately HBO, for some reason cut those out of the copies I am watching. But it is good because they give some back story to the episode you are about to watch. The islands in the Pacific are, depending on where they are located, made of volcanic rock or coral. This made all the pre-bombardment almost useless.....other than removing the trees and all the ground cover. If you were to look at these islands today they would look totally different as the trees and ground cover have returned. I don't want to spoil anything but some of the questions you asked will be answered in the next episode. As always love watching along with you.
