The Pacific - Part Four | FULL LENGTH REACTION

It's episodes like these that make me like a series. It's good to touch on these subjects and I think they're doing a great job with this series.

It's interesting how different things are on opposites sides of the world for the war. It would also have been interesting to see how things would have played out if those who went to Europe, went to the Pacific instead and vice versa. Just another "What If" scenario :)

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

The Pacific - Part Four | FULL LENGTH REACTION

Much better reaction this time. It is the difference between war and peace/ different theaters of operation etc. The people portrayed are ambassadors for millions of others. I think you got the mythical "it" this time.

I'm definitely interested in seeing these types of episodes that showcase the atrocities of war without all the gunshots. I hope that this series continues with showcasing just how hopeless everything was, which is very different from BoB

I definitely didn't notice and no one pointed it out. I'm going to be looking that up because that's so neat!

The tone difference definately starts to come out at this point. People generally consider this somewhat inferior to BoB but I thinks that's a misunderstanding. Bonding was very much a theme of BoB and having relative hope where as pacific is just unending misery. Masters of the Air of you get to it (hope you do!!) does the same thing, illustrates the unique experience various people went though depending where they were, who and how they fought which as a trio of series makes them rather interesting.

Bubba Fett

Not sure if anyone told you or if you noticed yet but Eugene Sledge's actor(with the hearth murmur) is the little boy from the Jurassic Park movies.
