True Lies (1994) * FULL LENGTH REACTION

I KNEW HE'D BE BACK!

Another Arnold movie!! Whenever I see an action movie made in the 90s... I assume that it'll be just a ton of fun!

The MVPs of this film are the expressions! Just one look can make a whole scene amazing. Also, a nice little surprise to see Bill Paxton there! I'm surprised that I recognized his voice πŸ˜…

I have learned that Arnold does really well in comedic situations, and also that James Cameron can do a comedy!

I will 100% be watching more 90s action movies, they are my jam!!

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Thank you so much everyone for your support, I couldn't do this without you πŸ₯°

@Verowak There are some real stinkers in there too, *cough, Red Heat, cough*

I actually wouldn't mind if you continued. I'm one of the few people that really enjoys T3. In fact, I think it's pretty underrated. I think if you go into it with adjusted expectations that it won't have the same sense of gravitas that James Cameron would've brought to it, you can have a lot of fun with it.

I'm tempted to watch all of the movies in that franchise, even if it's just to see his performance lol

Verowak

Thanks! It seem I might as well just put all Arnold movies on my "to watch" list 😁

Verowak

It seems like Arnold has really made some fun films! I'm so glad to be able to see them all eventually

1995 was a good year for movies in addition to "Heat", Die Hard With A Vengeance", "Apollo 13", "Braveheart", and "Seven". I was an undergrad and we used to go to the cheap afternoon matinees on opening day Fridays: "Heat" "Murder In The First" *True Story* "The Usual Suspects" "GoldenEye" "Bad Boys" "Copycat" "Rumble In The Bronx" "Desperado" "Species" "Four Rooms" "Jade" "Rob Roy" (1995 remake) "The Prophecy" "Last of the Dogmen" "Dolores Claiborne" "Congo" "Mallrats" w/ Stan Lee "Get Shorty" "Strange Days" written by James Cameron for his ex-wife Kathryne Bigalow "Casino" *True Story* "Sabrina" (1995 remake) "Crimson Tide" "Outbreak" "12 Monkeys" And "From Dusk Till Dawn" was delayed in production and released in Jan 1996

"Aliens" (1986) should also be on your James Cameron watch list, but you probably should watch the original 1979 "Alien" directed by Ridley Scott first. Graphic design for both done by H. R. Gieger

JAKH

The music was familiar because the composer was Brad Fiedel, who also did "Terminator" and "T2"

Regarding Arnie and comedy: Something I find interesting about the last 2 movies in a certain long-running sci-fi franchise, even though they're largely a mess, and have a lot of elements that don't work -- one aspect that works tremendously in both movies is Schwarzenegger's performance. It's crazy how easily he still delivers the one-liners. Even while the rest of the movie fails around him, everything he says is gold.

Last Action Hero with Arnie from 1993 is a must-watch!

Also, 'Heat' is another top tier action/thriller.
