Tales of the Empire - Morgan 1x01, 1x02, 1x03 * FULL LENGTH REACTION

Time for a look into the Empire!

I cannot WAIT to see this character again!! (Please don't tell me what show I will see her in, if any)

They really showed us a great storyline and a great character. I love that spear. I love the non-Jedi aspect of it. It's so intriguing!!!

I really feel like Disney can do animated Star Wars so well. I would love to have more series or even a movie made like this.

Despite having never seen this character, I am so glad that I watched this. I was debating watching it after some live action, but I asked in Discord, and it seems it was fine to watch now. Thank you, I'm so glad that I did 🤩🥰

I also don't know who is the reinforcements (and I don't want to know), but it's some people in the New Republic (formed by people from the rebellion since the Galactic Empire has fallen, so Episode 6). Big time skip but that's fine! Now that I think of it... that means the reinforcements happen in the live action series. This is speculation, and I will find out when I watch them. I also assume Rebels takes place after Episode 3 and before Episode 4... though it could be between ep 3 and 6 since the Rebels stop being Rebels after the Galactic Empire falls I guess.

Anyways, these three episodes have me hyped for the Star Wars series that I haven't seen yet!

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  Also know there is an extension that allows you to do Picture-in-Picture in case you are interested: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en

Ooh his own book series!! That'll be fun!

I'm excited to have seen her in a different order than most others. I cannot wait to see her again, just these three episodes have been super insightful, and the fact that we saw her after the events of the original trilogy has me even more invested. Admiral Thrawn seemed like a calm, level headed person, which I hope to see again, or read his books afterwards.

Tales of the Droids!!! Yes 🤩🤩🤩

I was not expecting to see anyone from Dathomir, so that was a VERY nice surprise!! It's a very unique perspective and upbringing

The Empire did deserve their moments to be highlighted here. I was very happy to see these stories. It'll be worth the wait to see more. No matter how long it takes what STAR WARS fans really need is Tales of The Droids!!!!!

Thrawn is a legacy EU character brought back into the Disney canon with a slightly different story than his legends counterpart. Very well regarded by fans and has his own book series as already mentioned that takes place after Ep. 6

This is neat seeing you Watch this First before actually seeing her Pop up again, this'll definitely make things interesting going forward, I'll try giving you some insight without trying to spoil anything it'll all just kinda be based on everything you've seen from these Episodes and won't ruin anything else 😁 Admiral Thrawn who you saw introduce himself to Morgan is pretty noteworthy Character with his own Book Trilogy, and this is your first sneak peek of him in the on-screen Canon Universe, he has a similar mind to Morgan where his Reasons & Motivations for being part of the Empire are not that of most typical imperial officers which is why he took a fascination with her because she alligned herself with the Empire more out of fear and anger so that no one could threaten her and she could take revenge on whoever would potentially threaten her, and that all kinda came from Trauma which brewed from the Massacre she was apart of and shaped her, I think at some point she eventually wanted to align herself with the Empire and offer them her mind and her "talents" so she could have their backing & support because at that point they're pretty much the Biggest Power of the Galaxy, but that didn't work as you saw in the meeting until later on after Palleon noted her down, Thrawn took a Particular interest in her and said "Well I like your Ideas and looks you can fight too, you've got my backing and my resources, I look forward to working with you" so now she can be and feel powerful so she doesn't have to fear of another "massacre" incident. though there is a bit of a problem where she said "my enemies", her enemies were separatists which are now gone so now her logic and projection is more extreme "if I destroy potential future enemies I'll never have to fear they could come for me" and that could unfortunately include enemies of the Empire which of course we will always root for 😂 And lastly yeah so the 3rd episode takes place in a pretty interesting time period that you've got your first little look into, Right After the Events in the Original Trilogy where the Empire was defeated and now the Republic has reformed being called the "New Republic". I guess they thought since the Empire's gone she has no allies or resources now, logically they'd think she'd surrender after she pretty much doesn't have much anymore and well she is a war criminal, they even sent a diplomat to try the peaceful approach first giving her a chance. But nope she seems Pretty content with not surrendering which is questionable because now she'll have the Entire New Republic probably coming for her & her small compound, but she spouted something about "vision" and "destiny" and addressed her villagers "you'll be part of an effort that will save our galaxy from ruin" So makes you wonder what kind of Big Plan will this be 🤔 But yeah Excited for you to Continue your Star Wars Journey forward and getting to see things fit together piece by piece! 😁

I really enjoyed these episodes. It really shows just how tragic the massacre of Dathomir in the Clone Wars was and how it shaped Morgan's decisions. Really looking forward to the rest of Tales of The Empire.
