Update on TV Series!

We finished Arcane last week, so next week I'll start House of the Dragon Season 2. Over the next couple of weeks I'll catch up and soon I'll release my reaction to the episode that airs on Sunday on the Monday or Tuesday.
I was planning on watching The Pacific, but I forgot about HotD, so The Pacific will most likely be after HotD 😅
For movie reactions in June, there will be the full length of The Abyss (Special Edition) and The Longest Day (1962)!
And then we head into July ... who knows what movies will be chosen by our Producers and Marble Winner!!

There is an LOTR exemption to the extended cut rule that is for sure. And remember you would not have LOTR without C.S. Lewis, not many people seem to know that.

I knew this when I started it, and movies are so subjective it's impossible to make everyone happy. Heck some of the movies that I choose to watch perform horribly on Patreon and YouTube (I'm looking at you MI franchise), but I still enjoy getting to experience the movie(s) 😁

But after the first time, I probably don't want to go through the whole video again (even if it is short) so having the summary written out is nice too. :)

Vero, I'll save my specific points about the extended edition for the reaction. Though I'll say again, most people prefer the extended.

2024-06-25 01:58:50 +0000 UTCTheatrical cuts are always better in my opinion. I’ve never seen a Director’s cut that I thought did any good whatsoever. Good example would be Blade Runner the theatrical cut was much better than Ridley Scott’s cut.
