Tales of the Jedi - Dooku 1x02, 1x03, 1x04 * FULL LENGTH REACTION

Another great insight into a character!

For this series, I'm doing things a little bit differently. I split the series into two videos, one for Ahsoka and one for Dooku. I recorded it all in order, but then realized that I didn't want the video to be partially Dooku and partially Ahsoka, so in this video we have episodes 2, 3 and 4!

Dooku is someone that has gone through a lot, obviously from becoming a Jedi, then switching over to a Sith. He does have his reasons for doing so, and believes it's the right way of doing things.

These three episodes gave us a look into how Dooku was as a young(er) Jedi Master, with his trusty padawan.. Qui-Gon!!!

I'm also really glad that we saw him team up with Mace Windu, who is VERY different from him, and I do tend to side more with Dooku than Mace Windu.

All I can say is that Dooku is a tragic character, and seeing his surprise in Episode 3 when Palpatine tells Anakin to kill him means so much.

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  Also know there is an extension that allows you to do Picture-in-Picture in case you are interested: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en

Dooku and Anakin both disagreed with the Jedi ways, but sadly the only person waiting for them with open arms was our good pal Palps. Such an opportunistic villain!!! I love the scale of Palpatine's plan and just how many people he's manipulated to get where he is. It's really amazing

Dooku's story definitely is an unfortunate Tragedy, He had the right ideas in the beginning but Palpatine is not the arms to fall into, similar to Anakin, he saw Dooku just like he saw Anakin and was like "Oohh! 😯 Someone who isn't like all the other Jedi?? I have sooo got to get them to be my apprentice! 😈" and so subtly sinks his claws into them over the years. Another thing to point out is of course that 3rd episode is during the Phantom Menace so Palpy isn't the Chancellor yet so all this was still under Valorum's term as Chancellor, so Palpatine isn't technically lying and he probably told Dooku of his Plan that he'll become the New Chancellor and then "together" they can steer things in the right direction and bring peace & order to the Galaxy by first Playing a friendly game of "Clone Wars" with each other. Though of course he still started it all when he manipulated the Trade Federation to Blockade Naboo in Phantom Menace which lead to all these Chain of events.

I have no idea why I remember things like that. I wouldn't be able to tell you they said that out of the blue, but if I hear the line, then it jogs my memory lol

"You're a much wiser man than I am." Qui-Gon did indeed say this to Obi-Wan in The Phantom Menace, and Obi-Wan passed it on to Anakin in Revenge of the Sith. It's impressive that you spot these callbacks, I wouldn't be able to even on my tenth time watching. :D
