May Update and Schedule Preview

Hello there, everyone! How are you?

I will start off by saying that being sick for 2-3 weeks in April has put me behind on everything! So my plan was to catch up this weekend... but I have family visiting at the last minute so this weekend is now reserved for some last minute panic cleaning 😨

But, rest assured the reactions (producers and marble winners) from last month will be done this month, and the ones for this month will be done this month as well so by June, everything will be back on track!

On top of that, school is officially done, so I'll have a bit more time now 🤩

A MASSIVE thank you!

One thing that I want to highlight are all of the positive comments everyone leaves on Patreon and YouTube. I've had a few movies lately that have gotten a LOT of negative comments, and while they usually don't get to me, it does get pretty depressing seeing all the negativity after a while, however, I've also gotten so many positive comments! The positive comments really can brighten my day, and it makes doing this way more sustainable in the long run.

So those of you that are beacons of light on a dark day, thank you so incredibly much!

We only have one life, and with that in mind, I tend to ignore the negative comments. Sure I read them, but they are not something that I usually take the time to acknowledge or respond to. Sometimes I vent about them, then quickly forget about them. There are way better things to do in life, like watching paint dry.

Reminder about spoilers

This is the first time that I am watching a movie, movie franchise or TV series. Remember when you watched it and had no idea what was coming next? I want to experience the same thing, so please do not give any information about the movie/tv series that has not already been given. If there is something that is important but we don't find out just how important it is until later in the series/franchise, please don't tell me "oh pay attention to this in the future". Please remember that you have all the information while I only have what has been shown.

For example in Equalizer, we don't know much about his past in the first movie. Just because some people have seen the other movies and/or the TV series and know his past, does not mean you should be telling me what his past is. If we find out in the second movie that he was an astronaut but they didn't say it in the first movie... please do not say in the comments that he was an astronaut. That is something I'll find out in another movie.

Please keep in mind that I LOVE being surprised. For certain franchises/tv series I do have someone read most of the comments that I feel may contain spoilers, and have them summarize the non-spoiler parts/parts that give information that I'll find out later.

Movie Preview

Part of my plan for April was to have a surprise Apollo 13 reaction edited for YT, but because I got sick, that really didn't pan out well. So the full length will be put on Patreon this month.

'The Terminal' is another great (imo) Tom Hanks and Spielberg collab that gets looked over a lot. Another of Hanks lesser spoken of films is 'Road To Perdition'. Has Tom Hanks, Daniel Craig, Jude Law, Paul Newman and Stanley Tucci set in the 30's. Proper good film and one of my favourites!

jim Howe

It has Tom Hanks, and he was great in Castaway and SVP so I'm up for watching any of his movies

Verowak

I'm so curious to see what all the fuss is about lol

Verowak

I really look forward to your Forrest Gump reaction. It's funny how everyone sees something different in that movie.

Scott Howard

Really looking forward to Forrest Gump. It really is deceptively brilliant. It was such a mainstream hit that it's easy to overlook how unconventional its structure is, and what a balancing act of tone it pulls off.

WastedPo

I'd be surprised if you didn't to be honest. Really looking forward to the video!

jim Howe

Fair warning, I do know two quotes from Forrest Gump 😁

Verowak

Hang on hang on... We're getting a Forest Gump reaction?? Fuck yes! Tom Hanks just knocks it out of the park with every film he's in but Gump is on another level! Can't wait... and can't wait to to spam you with more recommendations of his films. (Not really though)

jim Howe

No, no not at all!! The negative comments are usually things like "I want to hug you" followed by "actually, I want to throw pig shit at your face". Or negative towards me. Like I'm faking, annoying, ugly, etc

Verowak

I hope that you did not take my most recent comment (about me making a bad reactor) as a negative one. It was not intended that way. If you were slightly upset by it, I am sorry.
