And boy howdy, I tell you what, it was a hoot!!
I absolutely love the amount of references to Prince of Thieves, and I'm sure there are a lot of jokes that I didn't get.
Overall, I preferred this movie over Prince of Thieves with the exception of Alan Rickman. There is no way anyone could have outdone that performance π₯°
This is the kind of comedy that I enjoy, and will be looking for in the future π€©

The horse "Farfelkugel" is a reference to a Volkswagen commercial of the time: "FahrvergnΓΌgen" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_advertising#Fahrvergn%C3%BCgen The banquet scene and Carey Elwes' costume and goatee are references to the Errol Flynn "Robin Hood". He is also in the spoofs "Hot Shots" and "Shadow of the Vampire" The scene with Dom DeLuise is a reference to "The Godfather" Patrick Stewart was also a knight in the 1981 "Excalibur"

Couldn't tell if you caught it at the end but when she said she had a pill that would save his life, she just pulls out the lifesaver mint. Love those kind of jokes Definitely recommend Spaceballs since you're invested in Star Wars and it's a spoof on star wars (and some star trek and other sci-fi movies). Blazing Saddles is a western and Young Frankenstein is a black and white monster movie spoof so just pick whatever sounds best...or another poll. Can't go wrong

'Spaceballs' and 'Blazing Saddles' are infinitely better (imo of course) than this one.. then, while its not Mel, you have 'Hot Shots' 1 and 2, 'Top Secret!' and 'Airplane'. They are all the ULTIMATE spoof films. Oh oh.. and how could I forget.. 'Young Frankenstein'
