An absolute gem of a first episode, I'm already invested in the characters and am excited to see what will happen in the aftermath of Order 66.
A nice addition to the team, too, though we did lose one right off the bat.
It might take me a while to get used to not having the Clone Wars intro ๐

I was worried too during TCW, but it started off strong! I'm now worried for Rebels ๐คฃ

2024-01-17 15:53:07 +0000 UTCI wasn't super enthused about the bad batch in TCW. But the way this has started has me interested. I get that they did that in TCW just to introduce the new show to the current fans and get people interested in watching it, so it's ok. I like that it started out right from the jump with Order 66 and the takeover of the Empire. I'm really interested to see where that goes. The transition from clones to stormtroopers, from republic to empire. From clone war to civil war. Seems like it'll be interesting! Also nice to know clones come preprogrammed with the accent. :D

2024-01-17 05:28:06 +0000 UTCHaving 1 clone turn evil/controlled is really neat. It'll be interesting when they meet up again. I love how these TV series are expanding on the prequels so well. Things that people would notice and be wondering "why wasn't she in the episode 3", and then Bad Batch shows us why :D

2023-12-27 19:08:15 +0000 UTCInterestingly enough we saw Depa Billaba in Phantom Menace and Attack of The Clones in the background in the Council and also fighting in the Geonosian Arena fight. She wasn't in Revenge of The Sith though, so I like that Bad Batch explained that she was on Kalller at this time. So this is the first time we heard her speak which was pretty cool. In the EU she was Mace's Padawan and eventually became a Jedi Master and a member of the Jedi Council at some point. I love this series and the brotherhood the Bad Batch have with eachother and the conflict with Crosshair.

2023-12-17 18:25:46 +0000 UTCI love her accent! The Kiwi accent is always so nice to hear, as well as the Irish accent. Ahh so them changing his looks to transition to Forest Whitaker a bit makes sense. I would have preferred they just kept the Clone Wars look, by far!

2023-12-17 01:58:40 +0000 UTCOh yeah as a Kiwi I can tell you Omega has a *Very* Strong Kiwi accent ๐คฃ ๐คฃ I think because we tend to naturally sound really laid back but obviously the actress can't really have a laid back tone for a character like Omega which is what's causing her to sound jarring at times. But once I got used to it I found it kinda endearing in a way ahaha. I think you'll like her, her naivety may be a little much at times going forward in early episodes but like any character she will grow & learn. And About Saw Gerrera, I think because this show aired after he made his live action debut played by Forest Whitaker so they tried to mix his Original Clone Wars look with a bit of his live action look as he gets older but obviously yeah everyone's got mixed feelings on this look lol
