November update and preview!!!

Hello there!!

A new month, a new set of movies to watch!

I will start off by saying that I didn't get around to releasing all the Producer/Marble Winner movies from last month, but they will be released this month along with the others since I won't have any medical appointments in November!!

I have not forgotten them, don't worry πŸ₯°

There is currently a poll for WW1 movie reaction that will be on YT on November 11th.  There will be another poll later this month for... Christmas Movies!!! πŸŽ„πŸŽ…β„πŸ€Ά

At some point in November, I will have a livestream on YT to celebrate 20k subscribers, so I will keep everyone posted for that.  I am filming a short film this weekend, but things will free up a bit after that (in theory).

In case you haven't gotten used to or your head around the changes to Patreon that came into effect last month, here is the summary of them: read it here

That being said tomorrow will be the "Win all the Marbles" competition, so expect a video of the exciting event.  Just a reminder that the winner can message me their movie choice!  You are automatically entered into the race if you are in the TV Series Star tier or up (multiple entries for higher tiers).  (if you win and choose to pass up the opportunity, I will give it to the person in second place, and so on until someone has a movie they want me to see)

The Lion King (Hans Zimmer poll winner)

World War 1 movie (winner of the current poll)

Mission Impossible: Fallout

The World's End

I am also going to start editing down and posting Band of Brothers every week πŸ₯πŸŽΈπŸŽ€

I have started Chernobyl this week, if you missed it, here it is: Chernobyl Episode 1

I'm already 20% of the way through that series!  Pretty crazy, huh? πŸ˜‚

That means we can expect another TV Series poll this month (I know I said that last month but things got in the way).  Again, if you haven't had the chance to suggest some TV series, there is still time!  I keep a list of the series that are recommended in that post.

The two remaining reactions from last month's Producer and Marble winner are: Hacksaw Ridge and Stargate, so these will be done also.

I borrowed Airplane! from my local library but they didn't have it ready for me last week, so I should be getting it later this week.  The downsides of not having the movie on a streaming service in my country lol

As for Clone Wars.... I will be finishing it THIS MONTH, and then rewatching Star Wars episode 3 😭😠.  After that, I'll be starting the Bad Batch, so I'll be up to date when the next season comes out in 2024.

I feel like I may be forgetting to say something, but I'm not sure what it is 😁

Health

I've had medical procedures done in October, and I have the last one this week!  Unfortunately, I haven't slept in a horizontal position since the end of August, so my sleep is just getting worse and worse.  Sleeping sitting up is not something that I recommend for long periods of time if you can avoid it 🀣  As you all know, no sleep and no chocolate makes Vero... something something.
Overall though things are getting better so that's a good sign 😊

Other?

Happy HALLOWEEN!!!  Are any of you doing anything for Halloween?  Like giving out candy, going to a costume party or just a get together?  Staying home and eating candy/chocolate?

I'm just going to be playing some WoW and relaxing.  Tomorrow I'll check if there's any big discount in stores for Halloween candy.  We can't all get free chocolate like in 28 Days Later 😁

One more Christmas movie suggestion: "Grumpy Old Men" (1993) Jack Lemmon, Walter Mathau, Ann Margaret, Daryl Hannah. Comedy.

JAKH

It's the perfect Christmas movie. ;-)

Rob Frawley 2nd

Die Hard 2 is 100% going to be in December, I've already waiting too long for that one. A few of those will definitely be in the poll though

I've only heard of Daredevil in that list, but they all sound interesting! Thank you

I know!! I always thought this day was so far into the future. It is now my present 😨

Additional series suggestions: - "Dark Angel" - 2 network seasons. Created by James Cameron. Starring Jessica Alba, Micheal Weatherly. - "Life" - 1.5 network seasons (1st season was a mid-season replacement). police drama/comedy starring Damien Lewis (Winters from "Band of Brothers"). not to be confused with the sitcom of the same name - "Daredevil" - first of the Marvel Netflix "Street Level Heroes" live action series. 13 Eps per season. Total 12+ seasons in 5 series plus an 8-ep crossover mini-series. Seasons should be watched in release order with the other series in the group. Does not require knowledge of the Marvel movies. More adult topics than the MCU movies, "Adult" TV rating due to subject matter and violence. Now moved from Netflix to Disney+. - "Spartacus Blood and Sand" - originally on STARZ, is on both the bloody and risque sides. "Adult" TV rating. Lucy Lawless, Manu Bennett, Nick Taraby.

I second this. Short... but so good!

Bucky1138

I think Tales of The Jedi would be good too. They're short and only 6 episodes and take place at around the same time as the prequels and Clone Wars.

Brandon Dodge

I can't believe you're almost on Season 7 of Clone Wars!
