Cults are bad mmmkay?
While this is horror, I feel like it's a very realistic kind of horror. Here I thought they were just being brainwashed, I was VERY wrong π¨
This is more of a psychological horror, and it was expertly done! The actors were all so creepy and perfect for this. Just what I needed.... another excuse to avoid social gatherings with strangers π€£
As a 26 year old, I would have acted very similarly to Chris, but now that I'm in my 30s, I would never stay in a situation like this. Social situations can be pretty damn awkward, but most of the time at least they're not deadly IRL!

A different kind of writing for sure though, from short story horror :D I'm happy that I've not read a lot of Stephen King books that have been adapted to the screen, so now I get to watch and read them all!! It's scary just how many books Stephen King as written, I would love to be able to churn out books like that (naturally, with no excess use of drugs π€£)

Nowadays I suppose its more a professional hobby of mine to write technical manuals? (Imagine my voice is getting higher and I'm shrugging my shoulders as I said that last thing.) Not because its in my job description, I just like having them on-hand. And it makes me proud when a co-worker finds them useful. Side note, I absolutely love King books that have the act and craft of writing as a driving force of the story. [Edited to remove possible spoilers.] The Dark Half is one of a few that showcase different parts of the writing process and let King embrace how passionate he is about the art.

I just remember him from Key and Peele, which is definitely NOT horror, so I love how he completely switched and went to horror!! I write mostly screenplays for short films, but started writing a fanfic years ago and have been meaning to go back. So not a professional writer, an aspiring one I would say lol
