Extra Full Length reactions for October!
Added 2023-10-05 12:17:28 +0000 UTCWith the changes to the tiers that have been made, I will also make an additional post each month to let everyone know what extra full length reactions will be done this month, chosen by the "Win All the Marbles" winner and ones in the "Producer" tier! There is an extra movie this month since a producer snuck in and got the tier in September 😁

A reminder that these movies will be done in full length/watchalong format, and if I choose to, will be edited for YT at some point.
With that being said, there will be a LOT of reactions in October it seems: 12!

I recommend that for your own information (not a reaction) you also watch the documentary "The Conscientious Objector" (2004) that "Hacksaw Ridge" (2016) is based on. Free on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Od0uv1FzpaM - intentionally vague here to avoid spoilers - All of Pvt. Doss' actions depicted in Hacksaw actually happened, but it is just the tip of the iceberg; they left a lot out, feeling that the audience wouldn't believe it. The writer also did a real hatchet job on his family and home life. He didn't just dramatize the story, he made it up completely. I think that, coming from a secular and financially comfortable background, the writer didn't rally understand Doss or his family and resorted to the only tool in his storytelling toolbox, making up a story more in line with his own prejudices instead of portraying the family more accurately.
