Fives and Hardcase MVPs!! And Rex, of course since he's learning to not blindly follow orders. It was extremely nice to see the clones laugh!!! They're experts at flying the starships, so they can just keep using them since the weapons are MUCH better than the blasters and rocket launchers that they use, plus they're ray shielded!

Star Wars is really great at creating despicable and smart villains/antagonists. I hope the Clones mutiny soon, this is ridiculous!

I do like to think that Rex was thinking back to his conversations with Cut, and how in the end, he decided to not rat Cut out to anyone. It's great to see the clones have to face and think about this aspect. So much death and destruction thanks to one douchebag!!! Damn you Krell!!!

2023-08-17 17:51:01 +0000 UTCReally loved this episode. They actually did change the animation style for this season in particular, the Clones' facial expressions are much more detailed. Hardcase's line, "I prefer a straight up fight to all this sneaking around", is in reference to a line that Han Solo said in A New Hope when they were sneaking around on the Death Star. Sargent Appo is likely in reference to Appa from Avatar: The Last Airbender, which Dave Filoni also worked on during the first Season. He's the Clone with the arrow on his helmet, like Appa lol. He's also the main Clone in charge with Anakin during The Great Jedi Purge when they marched on the Jedi Temple in Coruscant and killed all the Jedi. I really liked Rex and Fives's conversations here. I wonder if Rex was thinking of Cut Lequane when Fives mentioned if this is what he believes or if this is what he's engineered to think. It was so cool to have a victory at the end after so much death and destruction. I love that final shot in the episode with all the Clones standing together.
