Losing Clones one by one, Ahsoka's scouting, everything going wrong, Anakin and Tarkin agreeing on something π, R2 and battle droids in action!!
So many fun things this episode!! And it seems that Ahsoka may not have been briefed by Master Plo about the mission, meaning he never told her to join the group π€£
I like how the droids now have shields to protect them from blasters!! That's a neat upgrade for them, now they just need to figure out a way to not be affected by bombs/explosions.
Good battle droids and R2 coming in clutch, just taking the prisoners from the evil battle droids! I'm glad that droids aren't the brightest, it makes for hilarious interactions.
Anakin talking with Tarkin was good because we get to see more of Anakin's beliefs. We already know he believe in the Jedi way 100%, so I like it when he vocalizes his displeasure and what he thinks is wrong.

2023-07-21 19:40:12 +0000 UTCOne choice that the writers made during this arc so far that I think is really good is that so far, each clone death that has occurred has been one soldier at a time, as opposed to a bunch of them dying on the battlefield at once. Such as getting cut in half, getting shot in the face, and of course Echo towards the end. I think it's a good way to emphasize how great the stakes are this mission, and the viewer can feel the gravity of each loss. I also agree that it's awesome to see Ahsoka apply Anakin's training of improvising and adapting, making herself an important part of a mission she was never even assigned to.

2023-07-21 19:33:48 +0000 UTCI do agree with Anakin to some extent (I refuse to agree on anything with Tarkin though, that's crossing the line π€£). The Jedi frustrate me a lot. I think it's great that we get to see Anakin's "radical" ideas though, seeing how he turns to the dark side, little by little!

"Time to watch the dominoes fall" This is where we start to see some of the more "radical" ideas come from Anakin talking about how the jedi basically hold themselves back from winning because of their lack of "doing what needs to be done". Even if you didn't know what became of those two later, that would be one of those things where you're like "hold on, what was that?"

2023-07-21 17:44:31 +0000 UTCOof Republic's gonna use and lose a lot of resources and ships trying to extract them from a planet in the heart of separatist space, precisely why they were told to remain stealthy and keep that shuttle in tact at all costs and make a quiet getaway. But then like the Beginning quote said, everything went wrong haha. let's hope that information is well worth it.
