Amazing day so far...(not)

I feel like such an idiot I swear.

So, today, I was alone and wanted to work out. I wear the shortest, tiniest dress you can think of (literally covering nothing), exposing my legs and all. So, I'm done. I'm sweating profusely, and decide I'll order some waffle before shower to waste all the effort of my workout (as you do)

So, the guy leaves my waffle inside the elevator and sends it up to my flat. I open the door, rush to the elevator to pick it up, and the second I turn back, a gust of wind shuts the door IN MY FACE right as I put my palm on it!

Now, imagine. I'm stuck there, in this tiny, almost transparent dress and I'm sweaty as fuck. No shoes, just flipflops, no keys, no phone, and a little waffle in my hand.

I freeze for a second cause nobody is home. And then I calm down and go okay. It's fine. I knock on neighbor 1's door, nervously looking down at my dress. No answer.

Then, I start to panic at this point. I knock on the only other neighbor here, neighbor 2. I sheepishly hide behind the stairs to give my body some coverage, and then the door opens.

And it's a woman. Thank fuck.

Her husband is not home. Thank fuck.

I apologize a lot for how I look and tell her the situation. This godsent angel just gives me her shirt to cover my arms and chest and goes, "No worries, darling. I get locked out of my house 3x a week. I got this."

So she takes her ID card, struggles a bit with the door, and with a click! the door opens. I am baffled. I got so excited that I ran inside my house still wearing her shirt.

Then, I run back out and give her the shirt and thank her left and right, up and down again, but this time, I make sure to secure the door open. Imagine if the door got locked again, lol.
