2024-12-11 00:30:14 +0000 UTCNever saw this movie before as I'm not much of a John Waters fan, but I figured why not watch "with" Cam and Zay, which I've never done before with a movie I hadn't already seen. It was really funny and quite ridiculous, in a perfectly 90's way. Although I was hoping she was going to kill the lady in the white shoes right there in the courtroom in front of everyone, sealing her fate. Also hilarious at how mad Zay was getting at such a cartoon movie.

Best moment for me was when Beverly was about to stab the video rental woman but put the knife down and opted instead to beat her with the leg of lamb! Interestingly this came out a year before the OJ Simpson trial, which was a major media circus, famously ending with his shocking acquittal despite all the evidence. 90’s true crime was certainly unpredictable.
