Musicals aren't my thing. This was like taking too much Xanax and washing it down with a tall glass of champagne and sitting in front of a kaleidoscope for an hour and half. I feel kinda car sick. It was a good reaction! Thanks Guys!

They slowly waste away, losing lung capacity and body weight. Doc Holliday famously had it, as did Edgar Allen Poe’s wife who died of it, inspiring some of more his morose and darker works. The song that starts and finishes the movie is “Nature Boy” sung by Nat King Cole, but written by a guy who went by eden ahbez. The song is very eerie and deep and unlike anything at the time or since. It is one of my all time favorite songs. It fascinated me and I would listen to it over and over. When NKC went to publish the song they had to secure the rights and couldn’t find the guy who had given it to him. Ultimately they found him living under one of the L’s in the HOLLYWOOD sign. He went on to write songs for other famous people. The story of this movie is that song expanded into a musical.
