In Pokedate, there will be a money mechanic and way to make money. Mining will be one of the ways to get the most, which the draw back that it takes the longest. Plus you may need to spend money to buy a meal after anyways.
Working at the mine, you will get a flat rate for just working. It's the bonus points that make this worth while! It be the quickest way to afford the most pricey items if you know where to go.
