Gohan did usually fight with his all to try to defeat his opponents, mostly because he was raise with constant danger happening. While Gotenks, both of the boys, decides to stall, play around while trying to look amazing instead of taking the fight serious from the jump. The only time we ever saw kid Gohan "stall" a fight was against Cell, but to be fair after unlocking ssj2 you could say his saiyan side was taking the wheel. Not to mention, he was incredibly bloodlusted. Full revenge mode 🤣
