HFIL = Home For Infinite Losers When the Dragon Ball Z dub first aired, changes were made to accommodate FCC regulations. In one of the earlier episodes, Goku meets 2 ogres wearing shirts that read "HELL" on the front, which became "HFIL" in the dub. It became a meme of sorts in later years.
