I find thanksgiving is such a weak holiday there is no like fun gimmik or whimsey to it I am not surprised Thanskgiving ceedes ground to it. It is just eat lots food. You get like a half assed turkey flag or something and that is it for decorations. Halloween and Christmas are such like events and Thanksgiving is just there.
