So it seems this show title got a Shingeki no Kyojin/Attack on Titan thing going on in that the title has multiple meanings. The Japanese name is Sousou no Frieren, which roughly translates to Frieren at the Funeral. This was localized to Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End for the English release. This episode, we hear Sousou no Frieren, which means Frieren the Slayer. So Sousou no Frieren not only refers to Frieren attending her friends funerals, but being the cause of demon funerals as well. That’s fucking metal!
