I know it’s been a minute since you watched this season but he’s a small amount of context. Metal Knight and Drive Knight are both hero’s that are separate from one another. Metal Knight controls all his suits remotely, we still don’t know what Drive Knight is, and Drive Knight is the one who warns Genos about Metal Knight in season 1. Child Emperor has nothing to do with those two and instead uses random suits and gadgets like in this episode, he made a suit called Dogman that gets destroyed by a monster. It becomes far more apparent later in the story but the main three conflicting forces in this world are monsters, espers (psychics), and robots. Many characters are influenced by one or more of these forces as the story becomes more serious. Aliens also exist but barely matter in the story. Your reactions actually making rewatching stuff exciting, so thanks.
