2025-10-30 04:52:51 +0000 UTCAs an ICU nurse, I can confirm the bed pan design is flawed and results in spillages an embarrassing amount of times, especiallyif the patient has diarrhoea. If they're lying completely flat when using it and don't have a catheter, pee does spill. The point of the bed pan is to be sitting upright on it as much as possible so that doesn’t happen. There's even a new product at my hospital which is essentially just a silicon tube with a bag on the end that you glue to the patient's butthole if they have diarrhoea. Could be an idea for Geoff to try? 😅

If I see a movie about a person in New york in the 2010s, I'm going to assume, because of the setting, I'm immersing myself in, that characters would know about 9-11 and pizza hut, because the scene, which we just sorta glance at, is about new york in the 2010's where movie extras are people, and pizza hut exists
