I was so moved with your reaction to this! About your question about Aizen's goal, his plan was to take the place of the Soul King (which you've already met by now). That's why he interfered with Yhwach's senses: Yhwach wants to destroy the Soul Society and the Shinigami; Aizen just wants to rule it and change the system (even though he had to fight the Shinigami to do that).
